Introducing TrackShows Premium

TrackShows now has a premium tier. Before anything else, the promise that matters: everything free today stays free. Tracking, On Next, notifications, import, export, ratings, trophies, comments, the watchlist, all of it stays complete and free forever, and there are still no adverts anywhere, for anyone. Premium is additions only, and it is what pays the bills as TrackShows grows.
It is one plan: £9.99, $12.99 or €11.99 a year, whichever is your currency. No monthly option, no tiers within tiers, cancel anytime. Here is what it adds.
Shareable lists
Build your own lists of shows and movies and share any of them with a link. A watchlist for the household, a ranked all-timers list, a pile of recommendations for a friend who has just finished something and needs the next thing. Everyone you invite can add and remove items, and here is the part we are most pleased with: the people you share with do not need premium. One subscription covers the whole list.
Rewatch tracking
Some shows are not watched, they are lived in. Watched episodes now carry a rewatch counter on the show page, so your third run through a comfort show finally counts as three. Rewatches show up in your insights and come along in your data export like everything else.
Viewing insights
The Profile tab gains an Insights section: your most-watched shows, the genres you actually watch rather than the ones you think you watch, your viewing year by year, and your longest daily streak next to the one you are on now. It is your own data, read back to you properly. And in keeping with what TrackShows deliberately does not do, insights never nag: the streak is a statistic, not a pressure mechanic.
Episode calendar feed
Your shows’ upcoming air dates, in your own calendar. Grab your personal feed link once from Settings and subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or anything else that speaks iCal. New episodes appear by themselves from then on.
How to upgrade
Open the Profile tab and choose Go premium, either in the Android app or signed in at app.trackshows.tv. Android purchases go through Google Play and web purchases through Stripe; either way it takes about a minute, and premium follows your account everywhere: Android, iPhone and the web. Cancel whenever you like, from your Play subscriptions or that same card, and premium runs to the end of the year you paid for.
