Sign in with Google comes to TrackShows

You can now sign in to TrackShows with your Google account. It is live in the web app today, and the Android app update is on its way through Google Play review, rolling out over the next couple of days.
One tap, same account
If you already use TrackShows with an email and password, the Google button signs you into that same account, as long as the Google email matches. Your shows, watch history and ratings stay exactly where they are. The sign in screen also remembers which method you used last time, so you are never left guessing.
A quick word on security
Alongside Google sign in we added email verification: a 6-digit code sent to your inbox confirms the address on your account, once. New accounts verify at sign up, and existing accounts are asked the next time they sign in. It takes a few seconds, and it is what keeps an account tied to the person who actually owns the email address.
iPhone?
TrackShows already runs on any device in the browser at app.trackshows.tv, iPhones included, with the same account everywhere. A native iPhone app is under consideration, and the more people ask for it, the likelier it gets.
