Ted Lasso is back. After three seasons, an armful of Emmys and a finale that felt final, AFC Richmond returns for a fourth season this summer. Here is everything that has actually been confirmed, including the full episode schedule, so you know exactly when to show up.
When does Ted Lasso season 4 come out?
Season 4 premieres globally on Wednesday 5 August 2026 on Apple TV. That date comes straight from Apple’s official announcement, so it is as confirmed as a date gets.
The season opens with a single episode, then releases one new episode every Wednesday through to 7 October. No binge drop: this is a ten week appointment.

Episode titles have not been announced yet. Episodes typically land at midnight Pacific time, which means early morning in the UK, so Wednesday evening viewing is safe from day one.
What is season 4 about?
The confirmed premise: Ted returns to Richmond to take on his biggest challenge yet, coaching a second division women’s football team. It is a clean reset that keeps the club, keeps the cast, and gives the show a whole new squad to build.
Who is coming back?
Jason Sudeikis returns as Ted, alongside Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift. New cast members include Tanya Reynolds, Faye Marsay, Jude Mack, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely, several of whom are expected to make up the new women’s squad.
